2017 Keep Nebraska Beautiful Golf Tournament
Mostek Law is once again proud to have been the Title Sponsor of the Keep Nebraska Beautiful Golf Tournament. The 18-hole tournament was held Thursday, September 21st at the Woodland Hills golf course near Eagle, Nebraska. Thirty-one teams comprised of 124 golfers from across the state participated in the popular event. One golfer stated “I play in a lot of golf tournaments and yours is the best one of all.”
This was the tournament’s 21st year, and it is the primary fundraiser for the non-profit organization. Many businesses, organizations, and individuals join together every year to make this a fun and successful tournament.
Keep Nebraska Beautiful
The mission of The Governor’s Council to Keep Nebraska Beautiful is to inspire Nebraskans to take actions that improve and beautify our communities. The organization was founded on April 5, 1964 by Nebraska Governor Frank Morrison.

This is the third year Mostek Law has been the Title Sponsor for the Golf Tournament, which was preceded by other support over many years. Attorney Mike Mostek was first appointed to the Board by Governor Mike Johanns and reappointed twice by Governor Dave Heineman. Mike was a member of the organization’s Board of Directors for 9 years (2004-2012) and Chairman of the Board for 3 years (2009-2012). At the end of his stint on the Board, Governor Heineman commissioned Mostek as an Admiral in The Great Navy of the State of Nebraska.
